Sortir Coffee

After the coffee is harvested, to produce good coffee is sorting. Separate fruit from dirt, yellow fruit and green fruit. Because the fruit is really red which can be a high quality coffee.

After it enters the stripping stage, which can be done with a peeling machine, it is now using a machine so that it is not manually rotated by coffee farmers. During the process of stripping with a machine should flow water continuously so that the skin is easily separated from the seeds.
Stripping this coffee is only the initial stage because then we have to peel the horn skin, the process after drying,After peeling the coffee beans must be let stand for one night so that the mucus layer is released, this can be done in a cement or wooden tub, in a tightly bound sack.

Coffee beans are dried, the drying process can be done by drying, usually coffee farmers drying their harvested coffee in the yard. Namely by spreading coffee beans evenly with a thickness of 3-4 cm. then do the coffee bean reversal periodically while still wet.
Drying is carried out for several days until the coffee beans with moisture content ranging from 16-17%.
Furthermore, actually the desired water content is 12%. Then further drying is needed.

After drying the seeds then stripping the horn seeds. Stripping can be crushed or with the help of a machine (huller). But this time definitely using a machine because the results are more quality and save time.
The results of stripping these seeds are called rice coffee beans (green bean).

After the green bean is produced, do the final sorting. The purpose of this sorting is to separate the broken seeds and dirt. Then the coffee is ready to be processed into beverage powder.
